Interesting tidbit about revenue sharing. With a close to $300 million a year give back by the players will revenue sharing be shelved?
Since the owners got the whole of the alleged $300 million the game was losing every year, will they just say that revenue sharing isn't necessary?
It wouldn't surprise me one bit and if that happens, then I will feel even more confident that the numbers about the amount of money being lost were tax lawyer numbers that didn't exhibit the true fiscal situation of the owners. They will have gotten their money grab and now the large market owners will fight tooth and nail not to increase revenue sharing because the small market teams will have gotten their money to remain competitive from the players.
