Gerald Green (202-G/F-86, agency: Lanshire Group) will continue his career in China. The American G/SF penned a one-season deal with Foshan. He spent the last one in Russia as a member of Krasnie Krilya Samara. For 31 games in PBL, Green had 11.4 ppg and 3.2 rpg. He also added 15.6 ppg, 4.8 rpg and 1.8 apg for 5 games in EuroCup. Gerald Green participated at the PBL All-Star Game and won the dunk contest. In 2009/10, Green played for Lokomotiv Kuban. He exploded there with 16.5 ppg and 3.8 rpg in Russian league. The American has NBA experience as a member of Dallas Mavs, Houston Rockets and Boston Celtics. With the Mavs in 2008/09 season Green averaged 4.9 points and 1.3 rebounds in 42 games.

I just love that he's still competing in dunk contests...

Has he gotten his college degree yet?
I remember when he joined Boston he and his mom said it was an important thing to do, and he would work on it on the side.
Celtics fan for life.

It doesn't sound like he is making much progress.

Gerald should be moving to a Euroleague team by now if things were going well. Not heading to China to play for one of the worst teams in their league.

Disappointing that he hasn't been able to put things together over there in Europe. It would have been great to see that happen and see him come back to the NBA someday and be a useful player. Like Anthony Parker did.

Antoine and Gerald threads started within 24 hours of each other?  So *that's* what it took to restore symmetry to the basketball universe.  Is there any wonder the lockout seems to be resolving?

Good point Roy. And this is why I never feared the idea of replacement players. Who wouldn't pay money to see these guys play again in Boston? Besides most of us I mean.

Lol, just figured I'd post something on here. Didn't realize the lockout news would suddenly be so upbeat.
