I thought you got a good deal. Monta wont dominate assists like CP3 but he will make up for it in points. You don't lose anything in steals. 3s likely go up for you while your percentages might drop a bit. Still getting that pick is a nice asset to have due to how deep this draft is.

for

CP3 + Hayes + Rondo's #2

A lot is going to depend on CP3's health going forward; I probably would have hung onto package #1, but as you all know, I'm not a points league guy.

It's certainly a lot for 1 guy, but 50+ppg guys in the points league r gold. Hopefully his health will hold up. He *should* be playing for the Knick next season and that would be VERY good.

No, because he doesn't have them anymore.  I think what's listed above is the net of the trade, from MK's perspective.

It's a lot to pay, but I also buy into MK's reasoning.  Superstars are so hard to come by, and most of the other assets he gave up were mediocre.

Oh wow then I missed him already trading both Deng and Milsap?! Lol he's been busy! Nice.
