Like i said before, kudos to each GM for being active and getting the guys they want... that's what fantasy sports is about.

Absolutely, man.  I'm trying to load up on binkies; Holiday and Harden are two of them, who I've been trying to trade for since last year.  It makes up for the sting of trading Wade last year, who is probably my favorite fantasy bball player of all-time. 

It was fun winning last year, but I'd rather just have guys on my team that I like.  I'm psyched to hopefully get the chance to do both.  (I'd note that we now have five CrotoNats on the roster, which brings a smile to my face.)

Wow. Great deal for Roy. Harden's in line for a big jump this year. Johnson could fill out nicely as well, but I think Harden's got the better upside.

Wow, blech. Let's hear how Roy spins this one.

I think I just wore just wore Bacon down.  We've been talking about some version of Johnson and Harden for literally months.

Look, Harden and Johnson are both wildcards.  Both can turn into stars, or both can produce at about the level they are now.  I obviously like Harden's potential better, but it's fair for somebody else to like Johnson.  I mean, he was the 4th pick last year, ahead of DeMarcus Cousins.

Why are you holding out on me, Roy? How much more in addition to Ray Allen do you want?

Artest, on the other hand, is still an elite producer in the steals category, and he doesn't really hurt (or help) much elsewhere.  Steals are a tough category, though; it's why, despite mediocre numbers, Artest ranked as the 100th ranked player on yahoo last year.

Won't hurt? He shot .397 last season and .676 from the free throw line. There are less painful ways to get 1.5 steals per game. I'd cut him if I couldn't move him for a future pick.

Don't judge this trade until it plays out.  Bacon knows what he's doing, and he put a ton of thought into this trade.

I think the bottom line is that both Roy and I got guys who were "binkies".  I realize Harden's talent as well as his potential - I just really like Johnson's upside and felt like MWP could help me with some steals and average numbers otherwise (chances are he won't shoot sub-40% again this year) - whereas Delonte's status and possible contributions we up in the air.  It is reasonable to bet that MWP will see the floor for more time than DWest throughout the year.

Roy has been after Harden for a while and I didn't have my heart set on keeping him.  He got his guy, I got mine and only time will tell how it plays out.
