Javaris Crittenton wanted for murder

There's obviously something wrong with Javaris Crittenden. If he is indeed guilty of this crime, he is a bad human.

However, I don't think this story needs to be generalized to the majority of NBA players or any other particular group. 

Yes, there are stories out there about a few NBA players getting into some trouble, but Crittenden's story is the only one I've heard of where someone has been murdered in cold blood. 

Very sad.

agreed that it's sad. not sad as in sympathy context, if he is indeed guilty of taking someones life then there is no remorse for him, that's up to god! but it's sad that someone in his situation has fallen so far to resort to tragedies such as this....

Yeah he'll be charged with a lot of crimes, attempted murder, Murder 2, various gun crimes, etc...

When you intentionally mean to kill somebody, but kill somebody else, that's murder.  Whether it's murder 1 or murder 2 depends upon specific state law, and will be related to premeditation, etc.

The victim shouldn't matter, as the intent "transfers" from the intended victim to the actual victim.
