Hi. Thanks for the welcome. I started Celtic blogging at the Globe. That didn't turn out too well, so two new boards were created.

A few of us have been posting at Celticsboard.net, the forum hosted by Celtics Hub and affiliated with ESPN. We had a bit of a registration glitch, and the board runs very slow for page loadings, so we've been discussing what our options are.

Myself and Mootrikon recently signed on here. Dslack, the admin for our board says he is already a member and has made a few posts.

With the lockout, there doesn't seem to be much rush to talk hoops.

But when and if the NBA restarts, I am definitely considering posting on your forum.

From what I've seen, people can speak their minds without fear of trolls or getting jumped on for having unpopular opinions.

Myself and Mool, for example, have not been exactly pleased with Doc's coaching. But I understand he is very popular, and many do not want to hear it.

That's about all I've got for now. I'm happy the C's got #17. Unfortunately, I sincerely think they needed and should have gotten at least one more. I definitely believe the window is shut. The lads are simply too old now basketball-wise. Coulda woulda if Shaq could have hammered out one more season last year. Or maybe if Jermaine didn't fall apart at the end. Or Rondo didn't get his arm hacked off by DWade. Or if Jeff Green had emerged. Or if Krstic was leaned on. It's a shame, because the Big Three had their collective best year together in terms of hoops and health since they won their rings.

I think Ray and KG are now 25 minutes players to get the most out of them. Paul at 30. Looking at the rest of the team, they simply no longer have the pieces to realistically compete for the mountain top.

Of course that could all change after this year, as Danny will have all that cap space room to see what he can come up with. Maybe he reloads right away. Maybe he comes up with a couple bridge years and perhaps really loads up when Paul comes off the books. Pierce's contract looks to be turning into another albatross, especially with a tighter salary cap probably on the way.
