That's where police say Randolph, a former Trail Blazer now playing for the Memphis Grizzlies, invited a Southeast Portland man he knew to his mansion on Southwest Turner Road, in the Stafford area south of West Linn, for an after-cruise party. The Portland man,  James Ruben Beasley, told police he was invited to sell marijuana at the party, which drew about 20 people.

I always find these stories funny.  Like Vick getting caught in the airport on his way BACK to Atlanta.  Do these guys really not have their own dealers near their house?  I'd bet Randolph knows about 10 within a 5 mile radius, yet he's inviting somebody he's not entirely cool with (and is willing to snitch on him) to his place for illegal activity?

Gotta be smarter than that.

These statistics are a bit outdated, but:

At this point, we can only assume that the Forbes editors visited our fair city and got sick from a batch of bad barbecue and were turned away at the gates of Graceland.

In the last few years, they've called us the second and third most miserable city in America; just about the last place you'd want to go for a good career (119th out of 150 cities); and the second-most dangerous city in terms of the bad guys.

On Thursday, they were at it again, this time calling us America's "Most Dangerous" city.
