I just think it's interesting that everyone is convicting Perkins. What happened to hearing both sides of the story? Apparently Perkins says that the cops' version of what happened is wrong...
"on Sunday, Perkins' attorney, Langston Adams of Port Arthur, issued a statement to Fox 4 saying that Perkins maintains his innocence.
Adams says his office is conducting its own investigation into the matter, in addition to the investigation being conducted by the Beaumont police department.
Adams says Perkins is recovering at home from injuries he received from officers during the arrest.
Perkins claims one of the officers hit him in the leg with a baton.
Adams says witnesses at the scene tell a different story from police. He says some of the witnesses have offered cell phone video and recordings of the incident."
