Here's my ballot.
I preface this by saying that I can't remember the last time I was in a bar/club (unless you count brewpubs), and my cultural awareness and musical preferences (outside of what can be gleaned from the world of sports) are largely limited to the late 20th century. In other words, I am a walking time capsule, or like one of those guys who wakes up from a decade- long coma to find the world a strange and incomprehensible place.

Favorite Food:
(Disclaimer: I no longer eat beef or pork, so this definitely narrowed the list down for me.)
1. Wallingford Social Club
2. Rank and File
3. Stagger Inn
Favorite Overall:
1. The Cause and Cure. Great drinks, entertainment, and personnel.
2. Stagger Inn. Great beer, whisky (if the mood strikes me), and darts. I don't know IP's staff or music choices, but the beverages have me walking through the door, for sure.
3. Room 112. I love Magic Hat #9 and the Sunset Wheat, Prince, Bill Murray, and Blade are all super interesting people/vampires, and there's even a couple of mixed drinks I could go for if in the right mood. Plus, skeeball.
Superlatives:
1. Best concept: Pandacracy. I'd probably never set foot in there, because it's an amalgam of nothing I really like/look for, but Edgar went big, and I gotta give him props for it.
2. Best latecomer: The PAP. Roy did a nice job of putting together a decent bar out of leftovers/free agents.
3. Most intriguing: Don's. I know so little of what he's got on tap, who's serving, who's playing, but I'd be willing to try his place out, because it sounds like it'd be a fun time.
