In reviewing the bars:

Redz, are you recreating the villain bar from the second Shrek movie?

No real plans.  Definitely a dark place with some soul to it.  Some good, simple music, stories, and humor.  Dark beer to come...
Yup

I think Tom Waits is a better actor than a musician. I'm wrong, right?

He's basically playing himself in both contexts, but he's definitely a better musician.  Though you have to have a taste for the music moreso than the acting.

I've heard about 20 of his songs over the years, and I treat them like I treat deep-fried alligator chunks...a nice little novelty that isn't all bad, but not something I want to make a regular part of my diet.

But his acting is pretty cool. I've seen him in co-starring roles in Wristcutters: A Love Story (really good movie), and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, where he played Satan, and I thought he pretty much stole the show in both films.

Well maybe not Wristcutters. The guy who was playing Eugene Hotz stole the show.

His music is an acquired taste.  I don't like all of his stuff, but what I do like, I love.  I've never seen him live, but his live performances I've heard recorded are excellent.  He tells an excellent tale with very unique inflection.
Yup

Nobody wants to take the chance that someone will negate him with a late-round pickup of "Black Gallagher".

Just noticed this:

It makes a lot of sense that the bar that is serving tequilla is employing Andre the Giant.

That probably ends our picking for a little, both Champ and GC were supposed to be away for the day.

Yeah -- I just got outta jury duty (wow what an experience.....) and am drinking some _____________ (no names!) and reading through 20 pages of posts.

I laughed out loud at the "chairs" pick coming back from lunch and had to explain to the baliff what is was laughing at ..... "well some friends of mine are doing a fantasy draft of pub..."

Oh jeez....

I've got one specific bouncer in mind that I really want. I don't think anyone will pick him so hopefully I can get him in later rounds, but i'll be "upset" if someone makes the selection before me.
