That would be an absolute Oasis though, throw in Clapton playing some hangover friendly tunes.

He'll get up on stage with Ziggy for "I Shot the Sheriff" too.

Plus, Black and Blue Friday nights: Clapton with a set of electric blues, plus AC/DC doing a double set that includes the entire Back in Black album, live.

Mine is almost finished - should I put it up now or wait til tomorrow?

We should also post all the reviews together once they're finished, for the judges and posterity.

Save it for tomorrow. We're scheduled to have 5 in one day, but I have a feeling we might have some MIA yelp reviews.

And ya, absolutely agree about the one thread thing.

I just wanted to share a picture of what I just had for lunch.  Today I found myself in Springfield, IL the inspiration for Sam N Ella's food...

Today's featured shoe was the "Southwest Shoe" which is a chipotled hamburger atop texas toast with bacon, battered and fried jalepeno rings, tomato and of course crinkle-cut fries and cheese sause.  I now need a nap...

I saw the Man vs. Food episode that highlighted the Shoe. It looked pretty good.

Drink Menu

Vodka Red Bull
Dr. McGillicuddy's
Grateful Dead

Troubador Obscura
Allagash Black (Bourbon Barrel)
Gritty McDuff's Black Fly Stout
Stella Artois
Maine Beer Company's Zoe
Casco Bay RipTide Red Ale

What's a Grateful Dead?
(other than a band?)

It's an overrated drink that takes way long to "enjoy"

In college we used to take rookies (assuming they were 21) out to bars and challenge them to 'races' involving red death, or greatful dead.

The way to win: As the race starts, grab a second cup. Using your hand, keep the ice back while you pour the drink into second cup. Pound second cup.

Ha.  Red Death was the other one I was debating, but went with Grateful Dead at the last moment.  For the record:

1 part tequila
1 part vodka
1 part light rum
1 part gin
1 part Chambord® raspberry liqueur

It can be done as a drink or a shot...

Sounds like you got a case of the Itis.

Haha.  Awesome.  Put that on a bun and slather it in mayo / ketchup / hot sauce, and they're serving it at my place.

Knowing my metabolism, I'd put on about 48 pounds eating that.

I haven't been to one of my favorite restaurants in a long time but I here they're serving a Kobe beef burger with caramelized onions and cheddar and a side of truffle fries!  Can't get it out of my head.  MUST TRY!

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.

Approximate cost: $250.

Just kidding. It sounds awesome but there's no way it's cheap for kobe beef and truffles. If you get it you have to post the results/review.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Found this review of the Impudent Oyster's Kobe burger (a little less enthusiastic than the one I heard from a co-worker)

Quote
The Kobe Beef Burger ($16.00) was pretty good. It is served on a brioche bun which tended to fall apart. This burger is best to eaten with a fork and knife rather than out of hand. While it is a good burger I can’t say that the Kobe beef made it any better. The truffle fries that are served along side are out of this world, salty, earthy and flavorful. They of course still have a large special sheet in addition to the regular menu each night with other fabulous offerings.
