Zach Lowe must be a laker fan

The blogging credential that I imagine played a particularly integral role in Zach's hire at SI? His terrific work at Celtics Hub.

So you're saying he wasn't good enough to work here?

Or that he was courteous enough not to run me out of town on the front page.

My top five would be LeBron, Wade, Dwight, Dirk and Durant in that order.

I don't think there is much separating the next 10 or so players so I don't care too much about which order they are placed in. I would lean more towards the big men first (Garnett and P.Gasol), then wings (Melo, Kobe) and finally point guards (Rose, Paul, Deron, Rondo).

Then move into the next tier with guys like Nash, Westbrook, Ginobili, Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce, LaMarcus Aldridge and Blake Griffin. Probably Zach Randolph too given his strong play last year.

Durant's a great player, but I don't like that he consistently averages more turnovers than assists.  That's a stat I'd like to see him clean up before he moves up the board in the rankings of NBA players.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Kobe at 5 seems like a lifetime achievement placement. I don't think he's a top 10 player in this league anymore.

Not top 5 sure, but I don't think there are 10 players better than him today.

Also, I feel like I need to watch Durant more because I've totally missed the hype train.

I don't think Durant is better than Rose.

Do you think ESPN thinks there will be little NBA to talk about for quite some time?

The are releasing just 10 players a day as they count down from 400.

That's 40 days.  8 weeks since it looks like they are only releasing on the weekdays.

It's debatable for sure. I recommend watching KD more.
