This is actually worth a shot. None of their Small Forwards are half as good as Jeff Green but more importantly, DeMarcus Cousins seems to be locker room toxic to them. Maybe they're too young. He even had an altercation with Tyreke Evans.

If it is that bad, they might really want to get rid of Cousins, which would be perfect.

Don't get me wrong that would be a great coup for the celtics BUT why in the HELL would the Kings seriously do that.  Cousins has more talent in his pinky finger than green and big baby have together.  The Maloofs would have had to have the biggest brain tumor in the history of brain tumors to make a deal like that.  Let me also put this out there just because cousins is young and immature doesn't mean he won't win them a ton of games.  So with that said i love the celtics and would love for a complete lapse in judgement like that to happen but it won't.  Cousins is to talented to allow him to leave because he is immature.

Kings fans seem to think the relationship between Evans and Cousins is pretty bad.

yeh i don't mind this trade, hes young and a nutcase, but pretty sure Doc, KG would turn that around. He has potential.

Not to mention his altercation with Evans, I can see this happening.

a talented young big man but seemingly a severe locker room problem.  Not sure I'd want to bring in another team's young headache in the hopes that our locker room will straighten them out for 2 reasons:
1. the previous headaches that have joined the team were all old vets that were on their last hurrahs knowing they had to toe the line to achieve their goal of a title before ending up out of the league.
2. our vets are almost out of the league.  they won't be here much longer to provide any of the supposed leadership for young malcontents that haven't realized they're prima donna mentalities won't get them anywhere.

I like it, but like others have said, I'm not sure Kings do it.  If they really wanted to get rid of him, they could get a better young piece out of it.  They could probably work him into a trade for Kevin Love or Josh Smith.

My exact thought. Aside from Evans, who else can they really build off of? It would be great, but it won't happen.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Double sign and trade? Hard to imagine.

i love the idea of bringing him to Beantown. we need a atlethic freak that can bang in the low post. heck, we need ANY center, thats young.

but yeah.. the locker room issues would be gone. just look what the big 3 have done to players like Nate Robinson.. Delonte West.. I really think Cousins can become an important piece of the puzzle..

problem is: we cant give up Green.. i KNOW you guys heard this before, but i think Green could be our top scorer one day, with Rondo, and possibly Cousins on the roster? cmon.. add a more excperienced JJ Johnson, and the top 10 pick for next year (SG?)

Buuut, i doubt they will go for a sign-and-trade for BigBaby alone. Aaand, we really shouldn't give up Bradley, or the pick. soo, what do we do? i rly dont know much about SAC's plans or ideas.. but i think they would like baby for cousins.. i dont know.. just sayin.

Kings receive: BIGBABYdavis, first round pick(NOT TOP TEN)
C's receive: DMC.

i want your opinion.. im new in this tradegame, heck, im 16 and from norway. lol
Doc's gonna tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear.

Yeah iknow, my username is Kendrick Perkins and my ranking is Jeff Green. Ironic huh?

That would only work if they were really desperate to get rid of him and would be amazing.

Right now, nobody outside of the Kings have much idea about how serious the locker room problems are. If they think that they could keep them together, the trade won't even happen. Throwing punches after a game is fairly serious though, in my opinion, so if they don't trade him now, there may be future locker room trouble and we could capitalize then.

He likes us too apparently.

someone call the police, there's been an attempted burglary.....

but actually, probably have more chance getting Tyreke, with his injury history already in a short career and with the type of player he is easier to replace than someone like Cousins.....not to take away from the talent that is Tyreke Evans.....just a thought....

Talented big men like Cousins are so [dang] rare these days, no way you give him up, unless you get something amazing in return, trading Evans would be easier as they could try for a veteran guard or a proven young-ish player!

The kings need veteran leadership, not more young guys!

  • I love the Celtics
What the world am I missing here????! I mean I like Cousins, but he hasn't really done anything worthy of Soo much praise! He's only been in the league one year let's see what  his development is before we go trading baby and/or Green for him. Next year he can totally tank. I'm not ready to take a chance on him in Celtic green yet, but best of luck to him and the Kings!!!
