Alex Kennedy: Von Wafer has signed a one-year deal with the Italian club Vanoli Cremona, according to sources. Wafer's deal includes a NBA out. Twitter

I'd be doing the same thing if I was an NBA player at the moment. I would bet Wafer doesn't return to the C's this year regardless of how long the season turns out to be.

With Hunter saying he would bet on a lost season can't blame him. Perhaps he will appreciate the NBA more when its all over.

Sounds like a good move for Wafer.
Celtics fan for life.

The owners surely feel the pressure now, with Will Solomon already overseas and now Von Wafer.  This could be the turning point in the lockout.  ;D

I like Wafer, wouldn't mind seeing him at the end of the C's bench if there is a season, but like pearljammer said, I wouldn't expect him to be back this year.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class
