----------
9. Bucks
10. Heat
11. Pistons
12. Hawks

Schedule/Match-Ups

Day 1: Eastern Conference (Arguments Focus: Monday)

(1)Sixers vs (8)Magic
(2)Pacers vs (7)Celtics
(3)Knicks vs (6)Nets
(4)Wizards vs (5)Bulls with Bulls holding home court advantage
West

Day 2: Western Conference (Arguements Focus: Monday)
(1)Kings vs (8)Suns
(2)Blazers vs(7)Spurs
(3)Jazz vs (6)Nuggets
(4)Grizzlies vs (5)Warriors with Warriors having home court advantage

Voting will be done as follows: Votes for Eastern Conference Only will be allowed from 2PM Monday-11:59PM Tuesday (All EST). Voting for the Western Conference will be from 2PM Tuesday until 11:59PM Tuesday.

I'm in the Western Conference, so I don't want to hear about the time difference. Basically it boils down to: We get 1 more day to figure out arguements, and 8 Playoff Series is too much for the average person to have to handle in 1 day, but I'd like to keep these Playoffs as contained as possible.

The rest of the week will look like:

Day 3: East/West Semis Debates and Voting

Day 4: East/West Finals, Team Of The Future (only teams still not active, or everyone but the top 4 teams eligible) Debates and Voting

Day 5: Finals Debates And Voting

Alright you sons-of-biscuits, don't wuss out on me now. If you were a GM, even if you aren't in the playoffs, you're expected to vote, and you're encouraged to participate in the debates.

Just wondering, shouldn't Washington and Memphis be the 4th seeds because they are division winners and can't be any lower than a 4th seed by NBA rules? And if so doesn't this change the playoff seedings to:

West

1. Kings
2. Blazers
3. Jazz
4. Grizzlies
5. Warriors
6. Nuggets
7. Spurs
8. Suns

Kings vs Suns
Blazers vs Spurs
Jazz vs Nuggets
Grizzlies vs Warriors with Grizzlies having home court advantage

East

1. 76ers
2. Pacers
3. Knicks
4. Wizards
5. Bulls
6. Nets
7. Celtics
8. Magic

Sixers vs Magic
Pacers vs Celtics
Knicks vs Nets
Wizards vs Bulls with Wizards holding home court advantage

This rule changes matchups in the West and gives the Wizards home court in the East which could mean a lot in a 4/5 match.

Good catch, although I think the team with a better record gets home court regardless, even if one team is a division winner.  So, I think the Bulls and Warriors would have home court, even though they're the lower seed.

Good catch, but I'm a little fried right now, so maybe someone could tell me exactly what the new matchups are, and I'll send out the PM's and amend matchups.

IP (or someone else) can you post what the format of our matchup press conference should be? I'm guessing it's truncated and focus on how our teams match up and who wins in how many games?

That's true about the home court with records, I forgot they changed that. But it does change the playoff match ups out West though, doesn't it?

New matchups really makes that a VERY interesting 3/6 matchup with Utah and Denver

is this where the results for each round be announced?

have the round 1 eastern playoffs winner been announced?

i ask, bc there are so many different threads for this draft, it is easy to get confused, especially when you arent participating.

The voting for the first round is today. Closes at midnight I think.

Second round is tomorrow. Conference Finals the day after (Thurs). Finals the day after that (Fri).
