Dwight Howard On Possibility Of Joining Heat: 'Never'

Dwight Howard was asked whether he’d consider joining the Heat when he becomes an unrestricted free agent next summer.

“Never,” Howard said.

Howard stopped short of committing to any specific action with the Magic.

"At this point, I don't know what I'm going to do,” Howard said. “I'm just enjoying life and taking advantage of being young and being able to travel and do the things that I've always wanted to do."

Hard to take athletes for their words usually, but I believe it.  I mean, it would likely be fiscally impossible to just sign there, but I believe it in regards to accepting a S&T there.

I really do wonder quite often what he's thinking...  I feel like the only realistic options are trade to LAL, sign in LAC, sign in NJ with D-Will or CP3, resign in Orlando, or possibly sign with Boston.
