  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Looking back on talent and fit, I think all 4 teams had a pretty decent claim to the crown. The jazz as well. Next season, a healthy Bogut and STAT, an injury to Wade, even one more solid year from KG and Pierce will make all the difference in the way we look back on this.

BTW, who invented the CB Draft?

Celtic Fan Forever and myself.  It was inspired by a thread on RealGM, and we came up with our own rules, etc.

We've been doing the draft since 2007, although the results of that thread got wiped out in the Great Forums Purging Disaster Of 2008.  This thing has evolved a lot sense then; the first draft didn't have voting, had one team per day press conferences (they did out after about a week), and assigned draft position by alphabetical order of the city a team played in (and we allowed folks to select whatever team they wanted).  So, draft position was really determined on a first come, first serve basis.

Um did you CLOWNS not see that one blogger had a bunch of my players ranked well? Where the heck are my apologies?

I apologize that a random blogger made you think your team was better than it was.

That was maybe the best playoff matchup in CB Draft history.

As far as I know, only 1 CBD playoff matchup ever went, tied, to a second round of voting... and thus is at least the closest matchup:

2009 EC Semis, Philly  & the Carmelos beat Orlando & the Lebrons in 4OTs on a last second half-court shot. #stillbitter.

I think he was referring to me & KC's babyface vs. heel round 1 match up. It was entertaining, even if I did end up PLASTERING KC.

Can we start the Pick 2 draft now? All this talk of lockout and current events is killing me. I want to debate basketball and talk basketball and basketball players and their skills, not their bank accounts.

The twenty team dynasty points league needs two new GMs, will be holding a rookie draft shortly.

Maybe to kill time during the lockout, we could do the "History of the CB Draft" and I can touch on the nightmare that was Commishing the '09 Draft although some building blocks were made there.

You HONESTLY think I care about these people? I hate every last one of the posters here.

You're all about one eighths as intelligent as the great posters at Forum Blue & Gold.  YOU ALL MAKE ME SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK.
