  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Updated Warriors:

PG - Baron Davis, Steph Curry, Roddy
SG - Steph Curry, Roddy Beaubois, Sam Young
SF - Nic Batum, Thad Young, Sam Young
PF - Dirk Nowitzki, Thad Young, Derrick Favors
C - David Lee, Marcus Camby, Derrick Favors

Pulled the trigger on a trade even those these guys don't fit great together because it looked like I was probably out of the playoffs looking in. Added more scoring, subtracted defense, and lost a true point and true center in the process, but picked up Lee, Curry, and a super 6th man in Young in the process.

I do need some backcourt help, so I'd like to trade Davis/Favors for a legit starting 2-guard; preferably one who defends.

Without an 11th rounder, this has filled up my lunch hour superbly.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I think the sentiment behind Raja Bell was a good one, but at the same time, to put it in Sandlot terms, 'They say the Jet's lost a step or two'.

This year was his worst 3pt shooting season in 7 years or something, his defense took a step back, and he became kind of a liability because of it. Not that he was a trainwreck defensively, but just that his defensive play and 3pt shooting was no longer enough to justify a starting spot.

Check out his on the court/off the court #'s:

They scored more and held opponents to less with Bell off the court.
Bell hurt the Jazz last year, I don't think he's more than a depth player at this point. This is especially true in a contracted league like our fake NBA.

All players I love.  I advocated drafting almost every single player on this team at some point.  But something about this team just don't seem to mesh for me as a true contender.  I don't know what it is.  I see it being like one of those recent Trailblazers teams that has a good amount of talent, a ton of likeable players, no real flaws, but you just know (at least I think) will never win a title due to... something.  Maybe lack of elite talent and championship experience?

Injuries to Roy and Oden.

I think your team compares to slightly better than a team with a healthy Brandon Roy.  I think that if you try to use that, you will win over a lot of voters because people really like that team.  Personally, I like the team, but don't think they have ever been legit contenders in my mind, even if Roy was healthy.  I don't think Roy is an "elite" talent and they have no championship experience.

Likewise, I also don't find Aldridge nor Granger to be quite elite talent.  Aldridge is very close though.  In my original rankings, I considered 10 players to be colored red for "elite" and Aldridge was the 11th best player who I debated whether to put in or not.  Granger, while a good scorer, is not an elite player.

I think if you had some championship experience on your team combined with Aldridge's talent, you'd be a championship contender in my mind.  But I just don't see it.  I still think you're one of the top 4 teams in the East and I'd actually still say you've got a shot win it all, but it would depend heavily on drawing favorable matchups.

You know what, I'm having second thoughts.  Maybe this Washington team could be a contender.  I like Aldridge a lot and Granger showed me something in that playoff series this postseason.  And you've got no real flaws on your team either.  I like it and it's a pretty clear (to me) top 4 team in the East.

Kobe is a jump shooter now. Lol but Bell was never really a Kobe stopper bc there is no such thing. He is still a good defender and three point shooter.

Disagree. Utah was a playoff team when Sloan was there. They were like the fifth seed. Sloan leaves and so does the Jazz toughness. Then you trade Williams for Harris and Bell sees a lot of his touches and good looks go out the window. Harris doesn't distribute like D will did. Jefferson is as likely to pass the ball out of the post as he is to hit a three pointer.

Raja Bell needs to be on a team that he can compliment and vice versa. That Jazz team was not it at all. They were a young team trying to get their own shots and stats. They clearly didn't care about winning as they were one of the worst teams in the NBA post trade deadline.

Shooters don't just stop learning how to shoot. Especially set shooters. Also he had Jefferson and Milsap playing behind him in the real Utah. They don't really protect the rim. Haywood and Gasol will have his back much more on the fake Utah.

That's why SVG will outdue his brother and lead CP3 and the Magic to the SE division title. The Bullets are probably my biggest competition on here since we're in the same division and they're always ranked 1st with me as 2nd. It's on!
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Over 70% of the minutes he played were over and done with before the Deron Williams trade.

Its not his teammates that are dictating his value, its his quick feet and his legs. If he doesn't have them, he loses his defense and his shooting, and it looks like they're on their last legs, joke intended.

I really like this team.  Ray provides something Rose did not have last year, a true 2nd option.

How far away do you think Patrick Patterson is from overtaking Kris Humphries?

Looks like a nice playoff run team.  Not sure there is enough defense at the SF position to win it all.
