From what I've gathered about Moore, he seems like the type of player who could be a really good pro in top level European basketball. He's smart, tough, and just seems like a true "baller."
He may not have the size and athleticism to get on an NBA floor right now, but a couple of years of seasoning with an international professional club could turn him into a guy who might be a solid NBA player.
If we could retain his rights, I like the idea.
Also, in some ways, I think if he signs in Israel it can have as big on impact on how the NBA does business moving forward as the D. Williams situation. If the D-league doesn't up its game in a hurry, I could see teams looking for a loop hole where they can draft American players and choose to stash them overseas instead of here. I'm sure that's not technically legal in a non-lock out situation, but overall I'm all for accelerating the mixing of domestic and world basketball.
