1976 Championship ring is up to ?$16,000 and I can only imagine it will keep going higher. What do you think of his kids selling some of his legacy?

Speaking only for myself, I think it is fine.  I don't feel you have to tie yourself down with someone else's legacy.  They  will probably keep whatever means the most to them personally.

Why shouldn't they sell the rest to someone who will fully appreciate it?

"Stuff" can turn into a huge responsibility and a even a "noose" unless you are of a mind to create a shrine (or museum)...and not everyone is.

I didn't mean it as it sounds, because I agree others should share what he accomplished with the Celtics. I'm happy that people will be able to bid and own a piece of his legacy.

I added another post, but it seems to have disappeared.  I didn't mean my post to be a criticism...just a statement of my opinion.

If the NBA weren't so broke, maybe they could buy some of the stuff for an NBA museum, or for the Hall of Fame.  Maybe someone will do just that...

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

Better watch out, Lebron might buy them.
I like Marcus Smart

and donate them to the HOF?  That would go a way to rehabilitating his reputation...  ;)
