Kobe will be like Melo's big brother in the same way that Shredder was a father figure to the Ninja Turtles. And he'd probably try to kill him just as often.

That's not to say he couldn't bring the best out in Melo. I just don't think there would be a lot of affection left in that relationship after the first few months or so. Kobe is a very...VERY demanding teammate.
