"The decision" pushed me further in a direction I was already headed.  His arrogance was a bit much to take even while he was still in Cleveland.

I don't believe anyone hates him unless you're a die hard Cavs fan. The duration of the decision was the reason most got ticked off. I just thought it was too long for a quick "Im taking my talents to Sout Beach" and also misleading being that the announcement was in Connecticut (Nets/Knicks).He could've Twittered that...****!

While it might be just a formality technically he was TRADED to the Heat.

If they still did the crazy celebrations yes. I dont hate lebron for being with the heat i hate for his rude attitude. Although cleveland would have benefit, hope to see them turn things around.

Yes because I hated LeBron when he was on Cleveland because he was an obstacle for the C's to win a championship and if he was traded without leaving on his own then I would still hate him because he would still be an obstacle to the Celtics.  All the other stuff just adds to my hate... A LOT!

I would dislike him probably the same amount.

I actually disliked him more in Cleveland than with Miami.

He showboated a lot more with the Cavs, playing air guitar, taking photos before games, among other things.

At times I almost felt bad for him in Miami with some of the real hatred towards him.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I don't hate Lebron and have no problem with the decision.  I've said it before and I'll say it again loyalty in professional sports is bs so I'm not mad a Lebron for leaving. I just think that he went all about it in a craptastic manner. He took a big dump all over Cleveland and Cleveland fans when he left. I think he knew the whole time he wasn't going back, but he kept giving them hope just to kill it.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Truthfully I wasn't mad at him for leaving. I mean he wanted to win and felt he had a better chance at winning in Miami then in Cleveland and he did what he felt was right. I really wasn't even all that and with the Decision.

BUT what made me angry with him and not like him anymore was the arrogance he and the other two started to show when they joined up. They were celebrating before winning a game and were just confident in winning championships like it was a piece of cake. I understand knowing you're good, but you don't have to broadcast it to the world in a arrogant and cocky manner. The "not 1, not 2...not 7, but multiple championships," "we are the best big 3 ever assembled" said by Wade, and the one that angered me the most the "it's gonna be easy all we have to do is get on the court." Those comments were to me a slap in the face to many teams who could beat them.
Then when put in their place he played the "I'm the victim and want some sympathy because my master plan backfired" role.
To me what they should have done was look at some of Bostons big 3 interviews when they first joined and emulate them. Come off as humble and grateful to be together. The way KG/Ray/Paul handled themselves in interviews together when they first joined up was why they had so many supporters for them instead of "haters".

TP. He did that in Cleveland, though, also.

It usually takes more than one mistake from players for me to dislike them...i didn't care much for Lebron before the Decision.Televising his choice of teams reenforced what i was feeling about him all alone,he's a self-centered player that really believed he was a real live "King" in a twisted sort of way.It was easy for my dislikes for James to heighten after the espn one-man show.
Trading him to the Heat wouldve eliminated the Decision but for those of us who didn't care for him prior to the Decision...by trading James wouldn't have made any difference.

yes, because he's arrogant, smug, gets away with murder on the court, and most importantly, is on the other team. however, the hate would be exponentially lower.

Me too.  I already disliked him before the decision.  The decision just made me dislike him more.
