I use NBA LP Broadband to watch C's games while I'm away at school and ik many here use league pass and league pass broadband.

I'm wondering about how my subscription rolls over year to year and if the season is completely cancled do we get a refund or even have to pay for that season and if it is a shortened season do we get a discount?

I'm sending a ticket to the NBA League Pass customer service to get this answer.

They probably won't offer it unless/until there are games.  If they did, who would be foolish enough to buy?

My subscriptoin better not roll over full price or else I'll have to cancel.

I don't get the internet version, but the cable tv version has to be signed up for each year...no wrap around...and there are usually a couple weeks at the beginning where you can sign up for a reduced rate.  Some, but not all, preseason games are the free period.

It'll automatically roll over since League Pass pays $ to the NBA so you'll just have to keep doing your part to support the owners in their time of need   ;)

Or I can just cancel my subscription until lockout ends and the season starts sometime in the winter  and buy it for a reduced amount or if there is no season cancel it and just buy it again a year from now.

Gosh, and the millionaire players will get nothing in their time of need.  Maybe we should start up a collection for the players.  Who's in?  :D

Don't worry about them, just like the movie stars during their strike did, they can join the list of newly unemployed workers and join the line for government aid.  The United States is ready for this kind of emergency.

I have no faith whatsoever in situations like these for tv companies to do the right thing. They'll probably take your money, put a ton of filler on tv, then make you send them something in writing stating a reason, to get your money back

I believe you have to re-purchase a subscription for every "section". A section consists of:
- Season
- Playoffs

You can either purchase a subscription for the Season Only, the Playoffs Only or a combination package that includes both the Season and the Playoffs.

Since it works that way, it's based on a season, and you pay monthly. You're probably allowed to pay in one go as well, but I believe that's how it works.

This would mean your payments should've stopped at the end of the season, and won't "roll over", since you only purchased a season or a season + playoffs.

Hope that helps.
