I brought up this guy not too long ago, but Steve Hamer.  the only reason I remember this guy is because he made it into the Celtics roster for the NBA Hangtime arcade game.

Chris "Thin Mint" Johnson

After we traded Perk we signed this guy for 10 days out of the D-league. I remember him playing on TNT vs the Nuggets so it was national tv. He just got pushed out of the lane so easily and couldnt box out. Then he went to Portland and actually did pretty decent.

I became a Celtics fan in 2002 so I'm very familiar with Walter McCarty, Eric Williams, and Tony Battie.  I even got excited about Vin Baker.  Wow.

I also remember Ron Mercer because I was a huge UMass fan when I was little and they had that magical run to the Final Four.  Walker, Delk, McCarty, Mercer and Pitino.  Yeah, pretty jarring when I saw all of em climb aboard the Celtics team.

JR Bremer, i remember him going off against the Clippers one game. Was on espn and Bill Walton was announcing, made it even better.

Kedrick Brown, he got off to a pretty good start one year, when Jiri Welsch had an ankle sprain and missed the beginning of the year. Of course he had a few filthy dunks, and some good defense.

Bimbo Coles, his name was Bimbo.

Cornbread and ML Carr (just because when he is on the court, it means they are winning).

I remember being at Celtics rookie camp one year in the early 90's and watching this kid who was recently cut by the Nets named David Wesley......

Tony Massenburg had a couple stops in Boston, I think Red got attached to him while scouting Len Bias

Justin Reed always sticks with me.

The most obscure name I can think of is Daren Morningstar #47 pick in '92

Also FYI I believe Tony Harris is Jerry Steakhouse's half brother

That Celtics rookie camp with David Wesley also had Chris Havlicek I believe.

And Tony Harris was made for today's NBA but was ahead of his time.

I really don't remember that dude at all but that video was priceless.

And watching him reminded me of another random Celtic from recent years: Scott Pollard
