Ajinca is a terrible player.

I'd be very happy with Chuck Hayes.  He's undersized, but he produces.  Kwame would be passable, as well.

no thanks on both.  both underwhelming players.  I'd rather have retreads Joey Pryz and Jeff Foster because they'll at least give it their all when they're on the court.

Meh.  I like Chuck, but he's not a center.  Him playing lots of minutes at center is one of the reasons the Rockets have been so bad defensively the past few years.


Foster, Pryzbilla, Kwame all sound passable as 2nd or 3rd stringers.

I think we should seriously scout the D-league and overseas during the lockout to try and find any young guys with legit athleticism and size to give us good minutes at the 5.

Nene and Dalembert are my two top choices, but Nene
is a dream. Dalembert is talking to the Heat, Danny no
doubt would like to put a stop to that and snatch him up.

As far as cheapies go, I'll suggest Ilunga-Mbenga from
New Orleans.. he's F/A and a Perk-type center whom
current Celtics should have no problems assimilating.

I suggest adding three centers behind Jermaine O'Neal.  One defensive specialist who can block shots and is at least average as a rebounder.  He can be on a sub-Perk level on offense.  One offensive specialist who can spread the floor and hit a 15-foot jumper.  He should be at least mediocre in terms of team defense, but if he were above average on defense, the Celtics couldn't afford him.  A D-Leaguer or undrafted rookie free agent.  D-League guys include Courtney Sims and Sean Williams, while undrafted players include Michael Dunigan and Greg Smith.  If you think the Celtics can only handle three centers on the roster, then combine the third category with one of the first two.  Grab an unproven talent and pair him with a journeyman center with a proven track record of dependable mediocrity.

Those stats are bound to go up playing along side Rondo. nonetheless, the Celtics aren't signing Fesenko to be a scorer. They need Fes's wide body to clog the lane, and play physical. 2things he is very comfortable of doing. 

Since the Celtics will need to add at least 2 centers. Hamed Haddadi intrigues me. Going based on his international play, we haven't seen what he is fully capable of yet. In the right situation Haddadi could blossom.

Heck no to Ajinca. Heck yes to Kwame(big man that can finish)

Etan Thomas would be good IMO. 2nd or 3rd string C. Wide frame. Able to finish and rebounds on every attempt.
