I think this would be a great idea! Celtics need a good center and the Lakers need a good point guard. Win-win situation.
What do you guys think?

Edit: We can also add in draft picks or cash, and Big Baby on S and T.

1) rivals wouldn't trade with each other.
2) we will no longer have a point guard. (delonte is NOT starting material)
3) bynum is much more injury prone than rondo is.
4) bynum costs more too.

I say Nay!

1]We can add in Big Baby, and some second round draft picks or cash.
2]We have Avery Bradley, really beast.

We can get Chris Paul via free agency in the 2012 free agency. Plus we have Avery Bradley and Delonte West. Two Okay point guards. What dont you like?

Using that argument, why not sign Dwight Howard in 2012? He is better than Bynum and we keep Rondo. A pass first point guard who doesn't have bone on bone issue like Chris Paul.

What has Bradley done so far to earn any minutes?

Who do you think will ask for more money: Dwight or Paul?
Chris Paul is a better overall point guard he does a little bit of everything, better than Rondo and Rose and anyother point guard in the league.

there's absolutely no guarantee we can sign either of those.  we have a core that was and STILL IS championship caliber after 3 years.  why break up a good foundation that's still running?  i just don't see the return being worth the gamble on investment.

Who will ask for more money? They're both max type players. Any team that has cap space will make a push to sign them.

You want to sign a center who has injury issues and another point guard who has bone on bone issues. Do we want to find ourselves in the same situation that Portland is in with Brandon Roy?

You obviously like your Bynum for Rondo idea. Stick with it. I'm curious to see how many people agree with you.

Lol, yes there in no point in arguing. I will add a poll, feel free to vote.

Why did we gamble with Shaq, we knew he was injury prone? Lol. Its all about gambling in the NBA.

Did you complain about this when Danny made The Trade, fixing a hole on our bench, by making a bigger hole in our starting lineup?

Go back and visit the hundreds of threads that exist on "The Trade" and find out for yourself.

how does that trade make us better in any way?

yeh we have a center back, but hes injury prone not to mention who the hell is going to facilitate the offense?

Delonte is also injury prone and not starting pg material
Avery? no experience in pg role

what are we going to tank the following season (if we have one) and then get a lottery pick?

We already have a lottery pick, via LA Clippers First round 1-10 secured.
