Tony Allen, great rookie season and then constantly injured.

I always knew he would turn a team around and help lead them to the playoffs.  I just thought it was gonna be the Celtics

I guess playing a playoff game after dislocating your elbow is all hype and no heart

knowing you are at 50% in a playoff game when you have more than capable ballas on your bench makes me question your role as a leader

We forget how good he was, but how about Gil Zero?  He came out of pretty much nowhere to be a fairly dominant player.

Rondo at 50% is better than Delonte ( Sorry Edgar) and Arroyo.

Apparently not. He looked awful out there, but I think calling that 50% would be generous.

He definitely hurt us in the last two games. Delonte should have played a lot more than he did.

  • Rondo = Good
Monta Ellis.  Kevin Martin.  Carlos Boozer.  Zach Randolph.  Our very own Rajon Rondo.

Except Delonte played down the stretch in those games and the offense was terrible.

Rondo did look pretty bad out there. I guess it would be more accurate to say that Rondo at 30%-35% is better than Delonte or Arroyo.

Except Delonte played down the stretch in those games and the offense was terrible.

I don't think Delonte played that poorly in those games.  He had 20 points on 8/16 shooting in 50 minutes in games 4 & 5 combined.  Only 1 assist though, but not too bad for a 2nd stringer.  Rondo only gave us 16 points and 8 assists in the 68 total minutes he played in those 2 games.  I'd say Delonte outperformed Rondo based on stats, but moreso, just from my recollection of the games.

And if we're talking about down the stretch... the defining moment that I believe lost us that playoff series was Rondo's missed layup.  KG's inability to go up strong against D-Wade was #2.

I agree with GreenEnvy that Delonte should have played a lot more.  I remember begging for it while watching.
