What kinda contracts are the Celtic's free agents gonna get? 

Big Baby- 4 years 19 million.

Delonte West- 3 years 11 million or could be a 1 year deal for 3 or 4

Sasha Pavlovic- Veteran minimum

Von Wafer- Vet min or D-League

Troy Murphy- Vet min

Jeff Green- Qualifying offer (5.9 million) but I can seea team giving him 5 years 35 million if they have room under the new CBA

Carlos Arroyo- Vet min

I think JG would make more like 5 years 30 million (about 6 million a year) and Big Baby is going to get overpaid. I just know it.

Delonte West- veteran minimum  or slight raise over the minimum from Boston on a one year contract. Sorry he has to prove he can play more than 30 games in the regular season. When on the court, there's no denying his worth. Problem has always been keeping him on the court.

Troy Murphy- I say someone takes a shot that last year was an aberration and he will return to his double double averages of years past. 2 year 6 million minimum.

I would not be shocked at all if Troy Murphy ends up signing a contract worth more per year than whatever Glen Davis and Delonte West get combined.

The rest are all veteran minimum guys.

Delonte West's reputation and market value are still fairly low. His injuries and off the court issues have seen to that. I think he'll be there for the minimum.

Despite being older, I bet Murphy lasts longer in the league than Powe.  Leon's got a ton of heart but he's undersized (last thing we need rigtht now) and on bad knees.  Murphy is a fairly established player in the league, it's not like he just had a good year or two under his belt.  What you saw last year was a guy who was out of shape because NJN kicked him to the curb.

Ok...I guess I'll just have to agree to disagree about Murphy.

All I know is...I'll have to gouge my eyes out if he is back in Boston next year, just can't stand the sight of that goon wearing the green.

Actually, I shouldn't say that...I don't trust Danny, so he may bring him back afterall, and quite frankly, I value my eyes more than that.  I'll just have to find some way of pretending he really isn't out there if it comes to that.

As per the rules of the current CBA does Green's contract count against the cap if he signs for the qualifying offer?

Delonte on a 2-3 year deal for a couple million a year.

The other guys can go.  We don't need Arroyo anymore cause we've now got 2 young backup point guards who Doc should be forced to play (plus, hopefully, Delonte).  The rest of the roster should be filled out with young guys who can fill a specific role (shoot, rebound, defend -- Stephen Lasme types).

I do....but not from the Celtics. I seriously doubt he is back here.

But history is on his side. Every year he has been in the league where he was given 30+ MPG he has averaged a double double. EVERY ONE. He's also a career 39% shooter from 3 point land.

He will say, probably rightly, that he was misused and injured last year and given his history, there will be a team that gives him a near MLE deal for a couple years. His numbers the two previous seasons to last year's number were unbelievably better than Jermaine O'Neal's numbers were in the years prior to him signing a two year MLE deal with Boston.

These owners just can't help themselves. Even after the new CBA is out, there will be just stupid contracts being given out to players and I see Murphy being one of those stupid contracts.

In terms of what they'll get from the C's, I only see Green and West really being pursued for resigning.   Murphy and Wafer might get vet-min make-good deals for camp.  BBD might get a S&T offer but I'm not sure if the C's will be able to pull that off.

I think that a team with a gaping hole at PF is more likely to gamble on Troy Murphy than Glen Davis.
