I think BBD can get 3-4 mill a year for 2-3 years from a team looking to shore up their frontline with an experienced player with some skills  I could actually see Orlando taking a run at him depending on the new CBA for maybe a 2 year deal.    BBD having Howard next to him negates a lot of his rebounding issues.

I agree about Orlando and also with Nick about Portland. I would throw the Knicks into that mix along with probably the Pistons as teams that would sign him with the intent of using him in their Big rotation as a 6-8th man off the bench.

I do not project him as a starter anywhere in the foreseeable future.

Glen is a solid fourth big (15-20 minutes a night.) In the right situation he can be better than that, but to be a top 3 big man requires the right other guys in the top 2 spots.

Baby's biggest problem, which has already been well versed here, is that he wants to shoot too much.  When he is getting his shots and playing what he feels is an active role in an offense, he hustles, takes charges, sets strong screens, and can energize a team with his play.

OKC is a team that could really use a player that is willing to take and can make some shots.  When they have Sefalosha and Perk on the floor together, they need a 3rd player who is willing to take shots and Baby is that kind of player.  OKC is also a young team that is slowly gathering playoff experience and you could see what kind of impact acquiring Perk and his playoff experience brought to the team.  Bringing in Baby wouldn't amplify that much more, but perhaps a little bit.

I think OKC would be wise to offer Baby something like 3 years, 9 mil with a team option on the 3rd year.

I think NOH should also have interest in signing Baby.  If David West opts out, they will have no starting PF.  Chris Paul will be as good as gone and I think NOH will absolutely be looking to blow it up.  They will be a wildly untalented team and just looking to sell tickets and I think Baby is the kind of guy that fan base would love to have being born in Louisiana, went to LSU, and is a very likable player considering his hustle, personality, etc.  On a crappy, rebuilding team, Baby will get to take all the shots he wants and probably could average 15ppg.

I think NOH should offer him a 3 yr contract at 3.5M per year.  The second year being a player option, the third year being a team option.

Even if West doesn't opt out, the Hornets might be interested in a player who can begin the season as the temporary starter at PF before moving to the bench when West comes back from his torn ACL.

Of course, NOH had no problems trading away Louisiana-born LSU product Marcus Thornton mid-season.

A Baby that's looking to shoot: No team will want him.

A Baby that's looking to hustle and pass: A lot of teams would want him.

But then again, how much are those hustle players paid? 3-4m a year? that sounds about fair.
