  • Thank you Eddie!
There will be lots of back to backs, and maybe a back to back to back thrown in there and a back to back in the playoffs to finish the season on time.  I just don't see it happening.  Even still, it's just starting to hit me that there probably won't be a season at all next year.  I'm going to miss the NBA.

In a shorter season there are likely to be more back to backs and that probably isn't a good thing for our Celtics unless they get a heck of a lot more from their bench and the Big Three are asked to carry less of the load.
spot on --- beat me to it.

well... lets say hypothetically that the celtics do coast in the regular season a little bit of a 50 game season, or at the very least let their bench play a lot more in second games of back to backs. If we finish as a 4th or 5th seed, the homecourt issues stinks, but we COULD be better off than having had our guys go through 82 games. It would then be a matter of beating the heat a round earlier, and I don't think we would have had homecourt over them anyways no matter the conditions. ahh this is going to be such a boring offseason

No.  That doesn't make us a more talented team to the Heat and all those back-to-backs are just going to make our guys extra tired when trying to take them out
