I'm not familar with the rules on Jeff Green's RFA status.  Over the past 10 days or so I've read multiple reports along the lines of expect the C's to make him an offer before June 30 (CBA expiration).  Now if that does happen and Green signs, does that not make him tradable?

Well, he's a restricted free agent, so he can't be traded or sign and traded before the new CBA. I expect Danny to match any offer though. It most likely won't be a ridiculous offer, because the new CBA will mean contracts will be more cost-efficient. Green is a great piece for the future SF position because he can rebound better than most 3's, post up most 3's, and if he gets starters minutes, he will average 20 PPG and be a reliable scorer.

Get back to me when Ellis guards anyone besides a tattoo artist.

In the meantime, he can go away.

Above was my attitude towards Monta Ellis after last season. But after this past season, Ellis's leadership, heart, hard work and play on both ends of the court really impressed me. So much in fact I wouldn't mind seeing him in Green. He's a captain type in my opinion.

Pending free agents -- i.e., Jeff Green -- can't be traded until the new league year.  Since nobody has any idea what the new CBA looks like, and since it's against league rules for the Celtics to even talk to Jeff Green about his intent, this is completely bogus.

Yuup.  Guy just wants attention -- and he's getting it.  Good job to him, I guess.

Deal would be interesting, I guess, but not very good, if it were possible.

Ellis would be good coming off the bench if we could also keep Allen and Green. Also NBASource1 is a massive joke read his twitter page probably the funniest thing I've read today he must just sit there making up trades and saying they're official because Ellis is gonna be in green by sunday!!!!! yeah right.
