My heart isn't in this like in year's past, but I'd be okay with:

Rondo/West/Bradley
Allen/Parker/Moore
Pierce/Green/Marquis
Garnett/Martin/Johnson
O'Neal/Hayes/Collins

Free agents:

Delonte -- Sign him with non-Bird rights (120% of the minimum)
Jeff Green -- Bring him back on his qualifying offer

Anthony Parker -- Sign him to the minimum
Marquis Daniels -- Sign him to the minimum
Jason Collins - Sign him to the minimum
Kenyon Martin -- Sign him with roughly 50% of the MLE
Chuck Hayes -- Sign him with roughly 50% of the MLE

If Martin and/or Hayes wouldn't sign, I'd look into bringing Troy Murphy back.

Wow, that would be an exceptional offseason.
I'd be incredibly happy with that outcome.

Assuming the team's goal is to both contend next season and to preserve 2012 cap flexibility, I think we're going to have to live with flawed players.  Young, athletic, proven players without injury issues don't sign minimum or partial-MLE deals.

I'm biased towards going with young, athletic players whose flaw is that they are unproven (but avoiding players who might have major deficiencies in BBIQ or effort).

Who are the young, athletic players with good effort and good BBIQ who haven't received a chance to prove themselves, though?  And is there any probability that they'll both 1) sign for a short-term, small money deal, and 2) be able to contribute to a contender next year?

I'd prefer Landry to replace either Martin or Hayes, other than that I'm in.

The key is if Johnson and Bradley can start to show something in the future.

Replace Martin with Kwame, and you have my ideal roster (assuming no major trades) for next year.  I think Martin and Hayes are superfluous, and Kwame is one of the more underrated guy in the league right now.  He plays terrific (close to Perk level) low-post defense, rebounds, and is a solid team defender.

And I think that roster would have as much chance to compete next year as any team with this core could expect.

How much money do you think Charlotte will offer Kwame?

Me too.  I don't see Martin accepting 50% though :(  But you never know!!

I think Delonte should be the first order of business though.

No idea.  Obviously, that's the question, but I could see Danny prying him away with ~2/3 of the MLE, and then giving the rest to Hayes.  It's a longshot, but honestly, no one has any idea what the landscape is going to be.

I am thinking Charlotte will offer Kwame a two year $8-10 million deal.

I think it'll require the whole MLE (1 yearr) to have a shot at stealing him away. I don't think they'll be able to split it between two players.

It's possible.  But I think that is also the case with Kenyon Martin.

And like I said, this stuff is hard to predict right now, depending on what the CBA looks like.  Not to mention, with Jordan in Charlotte, they are always unpredictable.

Oh, I think Kenyon Martin will require a 5 year MLE deal.

This is his last big payday. He isn't taking a one year contract.
