I looked at this deal on the trade machine, but i'm not sure exactly how the Trade Exceptions work.

Here is what I'm thinking:

If Minnesota ends up selecting Derrick Williams, which is very likely. Will that make Anthony Randolph more available? I think it does. With Kevin Love, Beasely, Darko, Tolliver, and now added on D. Williams mins on the front line are going to be at a premium. The #2 pick has to play mins. (Someone's mins are going to be cut), Kevin Love, best player has to play big mins, Beasley best scorer has to play big mins. Kahn loves Darko, and they still have Tolliver and Pekovic. It seems to me the odd man out would be Randolph.

                            3 QUESTIONS

Is it possible we could Trade our #25 pick and an Exception (Marquis Exception) for Anthony Randolph?

First of all is this even possible?

Second, if is possible, do you think this is a good/logical/realistic deal?

It works.

However, I don't think it's realistic. I would expect Minnesota to value AR much more than the #25.

We could do it yes - and Id love to see it done...

But Minnesota would really have to like a guy at 25 to make that move

please, please, Randolph would improve a lot under KG's wing...

I would love to have AR being taught by KG for a few years. The kid has potential and I think this deal is realistic.
