The NBA draft...where after the 36th pick no matter what you did in college it doesn't matter, because we're drafting a player whose name nobody can pronounce happens.

David Lighty, Ben Hansbrough and some others who were missed I hope they land on a team... they deserve it. And so does Jon Scheyer who didn't get picked last year and is in the d league.

The twins born 7 minutes apart and drafted 7 minutes apart is probably the story of the night


This is the single most bizarre draft really ever.

Drafts used to be so simple.   So understandable. So rankable.  

Nowadays it's more like....a geography bee.   Mixed with some anthropology.

And for the 53rd pick in the draft the lakers take Bcd;jkd;ajd  Ask;asked  of the Akikuy tribe of southeast Kenya.  Bcd;jkd;ajd  Ask;sake most recently played for the Kinsasha Mokele-mbembes of the south Congan league!

Do you get the feeling that somewhere is a very accomplished college ball player saying "I don't believe this!"

Who are these guy's agents?  Who represents that guy?

That's exactly what I thought. Nigeria makes a certain amount of sense. Most populous country in Africa.
