I disagree Change - Valanciunas spends another year overseas and Cleveland gets a shot at another high pick in 2012. Then when he comes over, they'd have a strong foundation at 3 positions.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

The Euro Draft
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Now that they've sort of brought the old Bullets logo back, I want that hat.  It looks pretty sick.

That is a lucky man.

Ignoring the fact that he can fly.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I don't understand the Tristan Thompson craze. Why is he so highly rated?

No idea. I mean, he's fairly athletic, a good offensive rebounder - which shows some instincts and he's actually very quick leaving the floor - and he's a solid 1x1 defender, both on the post and when guarding face-up threats. But he's very "man oriented", he loses track of the ball all the time and is a very poor helper.

I think Cleveland messed up by passing on Valanciunas...

hard to say right now. Jonas won't be able to play in the NBA for a year or two. Cavs needed help NOW

Why? I doubt Valanciunas won't play in the NBA next season, I think they'll work out that buyout (assuming a new CBA is agreed on time), but wouldn't that be actually a positive for Cleveland? Giving them a better pick next season? Why are they in a hurry? Do they really need to jump to 32 wins that badly? Plus, it's not like Tristam Thompson is ready to be a positive contributor next season.
