The trade talks were a little slow so I thought I would kick it back up. Keep it realistic, were not trading for pau gasol or derrick rose. Also list any free agent targets.

if BBD decides to walk, Carl Landry wouldnt be a bad choice to replace him. he averaged 15points against the lakers.

He's been talked about a lot for replacing BBD. What about Kenyon for the min or LLE? I'm not saying he would go for it right off, but he would have to consider it. He would be a huge backup for KG and we could probably shut KG down 2 weeks before playoffs and have Kenyon play 30 MPG.

Kenyon Martin would be awesome to have as a backup to KG. Durability is a question but its a risk I would take, for sure.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Can we somehow get Anthony Randolph? Dude moves as fast as a gazelle, and rebounds like his life depends on it. He's strong, athletic, and under KG's leadership, could grow to be a great player. His long arms really help and make him a solid shot blocker, and with KG tutoring his 24/7, I think he's going to be solid. He's shows signs every now and then, in the limited time he plays. Can Ainge work out some sort of Big Baby + Some other + Draft Pick for him?

We need a big who can move quick and play D and a 2/3 who can penetrate.

I dont have names off-hand but there's tons of players who fit those descriptions

he would be a solid backup...danny/doc would have to convince him to take less $$ to play for a ring and that he'd get his minutes behind KG...

This will not be allowed because the C's will go over the cap. Pietrus would be a good back up for Ray though.

Pietrus just exercised his option with the Suns ..

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

To throw a new name out there, I will go with Zaza Pachulia.

Now, he is not someone I think is being actively shopped, but he could be a potential target, particularly if Atlanta makes some moves to get a new Center.

Pachulia is affordable, is a nice all around player, and brings some of the toughness and the enforcer mentality that we lost with Perk.  He is not the defender that Perk is, but he is at least solid on that side of the ball, and I think he would be a very good player to put next to KG.

Zaza is not a solid defender. He is a poor defensive C.

I disagree.  I think he is a very solid defender.  He is not a good shotblocker, but he is a solid positional defender, and can hold his own in the post.

In other words, he isn't Perk, but he also isn't Krstic.

Actually, that is a great comparison.

Zaza Pachulia = Nenad Krstic  ...  in terms of defensive ability

How about a Krstic who is not afraid to get physical and use his strength.

They are probably comparable as far as defensive skills, but Pachulia is a MUCH more physical player, which makes him significantly more effective defensively.
