Lebron has already had WAY more playoff success than either TMac or Vince.  He wilted, but I think it's extremely unfair to compare Lebron to those career losers.
TMac is maybe a little extreme. (It's on me!).   But you trade Vince in his prime for Bron straight up now and Vince is probably polishing off his new championship ring.  Or at least not disappearing in the 4th quarter.

How soon we forget Vince's clutch performance against us last year, where he shot 36% from the field, was terrible on defense, and bricked some clutch FTs.  Lebron James has more clutchness in his elbow than Vince does in his entire body.

Yeah but Vince in his prime? Before the knee injuries? He could be driving and flying all over the place. Unlike LeBron, during his days in Toronto, he demands the ball and wants the last shot. That's the difference.

Carter played with some very talented teammates, in a weak conference, and never reached the Finals.  I don't think he was a guy who got the most out of his talent, and he certainly wasn't clutch.

that's more than LeBron had. If Vince Carter of 8 years ago was playing with Dwight now, they probably won a ring already. Aside from J-Kidd (who was beginning to slow down) he never had great teammates. TMac was not the TMac yet. And he was certainly past his prime when he got traded in Orlando.

I don't see anything mystifying about the outcome. Lebron is quite punkable as his playoff history indicates. We also know balanced teams tend to triumph over star-centric ones so again no surprise there. Third and most importantly Dallas has old foe Deshawn Stevenson. You know Lebron wasn't going win a ring on his watch ;D
