id go

Johnson
Tyler
Harper
Thompkins
Williams

but i would actually place Leur right after Harper, I think he is going to be a steal and is worth consideration at 25 or best case try to move down into the early 2nd for him. If he was from europe he would be a top 15 pick.
Mavs
Wiz
Hornet

I'm still getting to know some of these players.  I'm not enamored of any of them, to be honest, and think that some of the guards or small forwards that would be available at this point in the draft would provide more.

That said, at present, I go for:
Harper
Tyler
Johnson
Thompkins
Williams
Celtics fan for life.

I wouldn't lock into a PF for that pick but take the BPA.

C's are thinnest in these areas:
Center
PF
SG
PG
SF.

Danny should be looking at the best Center, PF and SG prospect available at the time he picks.  None of the prospects mentioned are going to make much of a contribution if picked.

Consider this, Doc has been unable to integrate NBA vets into his defensive schemes for the past 4 years at midseason.  He's never incorporated rookies into his rotations unless forced to do so due to injuries to veteran players.  Considering this is a weak draft where the majority of these options would be second rounders at best, does anyone really think they'll be good enough to see the court while Doc is coaching this year?  (We may think a player's good enough, but Doc won't).

The pick this year is an investment for next year.  plain and simple.  Not knowing how Danny will handle all the contracts coming off the books after next year leaves me unsure if the best move is to take a risk on someone with potential (such as Tyler) or more of a sure thing to be a bench role player (Johnson).  If he's recycling the big 3 again, probably go with Johnson.  If he's retooling, probably go with Tyler (or Marshon Brooks as Ray's replacement at SG if he's still there).

Swing for the fences and maybe strike out: Jeremy Tyler

Upside is far too tantalizing and valuable to not gamble.

His interviews have shown much growth and maturity.

Danny, the Gambler, do it and then acquire 1 or 2 2nd rounders.

I'm hearing a lot of Jeremy Tyler I saw his overseas stats and was kinda unimpressed but dude is 6'11 wit a 7'5 wingspan and is a freak athlete under KG he can become a quality player. I like Jujaun Johnson but I'm worried about how skinny he is 6'11 220 iont kno if he can bang inside

If Jajuan Johnson looked less wiry, he'd be a lottery pick, because he's good at everything else.  Still, he had the third most reps in the strength tests at the combine, and he's fundamentally sound and very coachable.  I'm not saying he's Kevin Garnett, but being skinny doesn't mean you can't play inside.  Everyone says Johnson has less upside than most, myself included, but that's not really being fair.  There's no question he can make 18-foot jump shots.  There's no question that he's athletic.  There should be no question that he can block shots.  What people aren't sure about is if he can rebound and have a post-game at the NBA level.  But with his strength and 12'1" leaping, you shouldn't write off those either.  If he's able to have a post game and successfully fight for rebounds, his upside is quality NBA starting power forward, based on his other unquestioned abilities.  If he's not, his downside is 8th or 9th man.  His upside is not as much of an increase compared to his downside as most players in this draft, but it doesn't mean it's not there, and there isn't the chance for him to become a very good NBA player for years.

Bebe pulled out of the draft so he can be crossed off the list.
That is very disappointing.
