Once again, this Finals is a case of LeBron having to do everything by himself.

C - Joel Anthony.
PF - Chris Bosh
SF - LeBron
SG - Wade
PG - Chalmers.

Look at that starting line up. Is there another top scorer in that lineup? Oh.

Is there another bonafide All Star in that lineup? Oh. There are two others. Oh.

Still though, get LeBron some help. You cannot win a Finals when your second best player is Dwyane Wade. Granted, you can win a Finals when your best player is Wade. But definitely not your second best.

You could probably use a big man too, someone who's averaged 20/10 in the past. Oh.

Maybe trade for Jamison and Mo Williams?

LeBron certainly tarnished his ever changing legacy with his 4th quarter no-shows, but i still don't understand the "blow up the heat" sentiment out there.

Spo needs to go.  That should be priority 1.  Get a coach in there who can manage personalities.  He's creative but he isn't capable of commanding respect - yet.  He should be getting his hard knocks on a team like the Kings, not with a finals roster.

Secondly, this offseason needs to be about purging the guys that don't fit and continuing to try and find the right supplementary pieces.  Mario Chalmers is a punk and needs to go (especially if Spo stays).  Mike Bibby - see ya.  Also say goodbye to Big Z, Howard, and Dampier.

Finally, a decision needs to be made on James Jones/Mike Miller.  Personally i like Miller and think that, with more time, he can become a great fit on that team.  Move Jones while he has some value.

Looks like Wade can only win with Shaq.

The fact that Cleveland's coach Mike Brown gets hired to coach LA tells you that NBA insiders felt he did a good job dealing with a jerk like Bron. Im thinking Spo did at least as good a job with Bron and suspect he would get a new gig after about one day. SPO isn't the problem bro's: ITS LEBRON

Come on, that's bull.  That's not an excuse.

First of all he had Wade, the second best player in the NBA, that alone should have been enough.

Then Chris Bosh, probably the best 3rd option in the league.

Miller and Haslem.  Excellent complimentary pieces that fill the shooting and rebounding holes.

Eddie House, Chalmers, Jones, Anthony, Big Z.  Plus Bibby and Dampier.  PLENTY of shooting, rebounding and defense there.  No excuse whatsoever.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I think the OP was being sarcastic.

Why didn't James Jones play in the finals?  Was he still injured or did they just decide to go with Miller?  If the latter, I question that coaching decision, he seemed to play pretty well against the Celtics.

I know this thread is a joke... but the thing is... beyond Miami's big 3, I don't think anyone on that team would even crack the Celtic's rotation.  Maybe Haslem.

Give them a year, the MLE, LLE and some title chasing vets and that team will be scary.

LeBron took a team to the finals that had Larry Hughes as the 2nd best player... Drew Gooden and Sasha Pavlovic as starters.  That was pretty impressive.

Defeating the Celtics and Bulls with this dysfunctional bunch is pretty impressive as well... considering it was year 1 of a long-term plan.  They shouldn't have really had expectations of a title in year 1.  Nobody is faulting the Knicks for stumbling into the playoffs and getting swept in round 1, because there is an understanding that it will take time.   The Celtics Big 3 in 08 was an aberration... it usually doesn't happen that quick.  I'm surprised the Heat got that far.

Haslem, yes

Anthony, with all the injuries, yes.

Miller, yes

House, yes (because he did in the past)

Chalmers would have gotten time in our rotation, too, with all the injuries to Delonte.

I think Miami had more of a "fit" issue then talent issue.

Though the starting C and PG spot were very rough.

They should have gone small more with Lebron at the PF and Bosh at C.  Force Dirk to have to cover one of them.

What about Antione Walker?

Perhaps My Hammy should trade LeQuit to Idaho for Antione Walker.
