All of the Final 4 teams this year have a solid center rotation.
MIA doesn't even have a solid starting center, never mind a rotation.  Joel Anthony might have dominated the boards at times vs the Celtis but so does every other team.  He wasn't even the starting C during the regular season just in the playoffs.

I might have agreed going into the playoffs, but Anthony and Haslem have played well. surprisingly so.

They have the weakest rotation, but they also have the strongest players surrounding them.

The key is how Doc is going to use his centers. Centers are always a premium and you have to always "settle" and live with their weaknesses and not have the coach just Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. about what they can't do. There are going to be some third tier centers out there. I have always liked Aaron Gray-big tall body who has scoring skills around the basket and out to 12 feet. He plays without fear and will rebound. However he isn't going to block many shots. Pryzbilla (if healthy) can be useful but will be more expensive. The list goes on. However Doc always wants players to fit his system and doesn't want the system to fit the players. And I don't know of any great shot blockers, great defenders, great rebounders among even the second tier centers.

Lopez seems a decent big man, trade target as does Anthony Tolliver and Darko Milicic from Minnesota, Jason Thompson from Sacramento, and JaValle McGee from washington if the C's could find something to offer the Wiz to entice them into that trade, which I doubt.

Problem is the lack of trade-able assets the C's have that they would be willing to part with. Ultimately I think they are going to have to sign a Nazr Mohammed, Dan Gadzuric, Jeff Foster, Joel Przybilla, or Kurt Thomas or maybe a couple of them at minimum money to get through next year and just pray that JO and a couple of those guys can stay healthy and produce.
