Lebron in the fourth

4 - 16
11 points

Dirk in the fourth

13 - 27
52 points

Who ever say Lebron is the best or even top 3 player in this league is a joke.

He has no post game, is not a great leader/motivator , can't play off the ball and crys like a little B any time something goes against him.

Dirk on the other hand is totally unstoppable. Makes everyone else around him better and hits clutch shot after clutch shot .

List of best players in the NBA

Kobe ( hate to admit it)
Wade
Dirk
Dwight Howard

they are all better players IMO and chris Paul and Deron Williams , Durant are also possibly just as good or better, just in different ways.

The king is a such a choker,loser.

Better player? LeBron is the best athlete and all around player... I do agree that I'd take Wade as a better player in the playoffs over LeBron any day... I also think he is better than LeBron but it's b/c of his mentality... but I guess the all around stats for LeBron tells you who the best is.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Jumper stops falling; Lebron falls back down to earth. Wish it happened earlier against the Celtics. Lebron was in a zone then.

Lebron had a bad game 4, but the reason he has hit this rough stretch is actually because of Dywane Wade.

Wade is demanding the ball and continuously isolating against he Mavs wing defenders because he thinks he can beat them 1v1. (terry and Kidd and stevenson).
Problem is he's taking it himself so often that it's stopping Lebron from getting into a rhythm.

Wade's basically decided that he's going to win the title and it's his team and he doesn't want Lebron getting all the credit.
Go back and watch how many times wade has dribbled down the court- ala kobe bryant- from half way, waited till there's 14 seconds on the shot clock, then decided to take it to the hole for all the glory or leave his teammates with a jumpshot once the Mavs have doubled him.

I feel bad for Lebron because he should be getting the ball much more.

Maybe.  On the other hand, Lebron had 19 shot attempts (Wade had 12), and picked up 10 assists and 4 turnovers, so it's not like the ball isn't in his hands.

I talked to LeBron before the game and asked him for a dollar. He gave me 75 cents. I asked him where the rest was and he told me, "I don't have a 4th quarter."

Dirk did miss the game tying last shot in game 2.  It's all about perception and what you want to believe.  If player x falters, you forget about it.  But when player y does so you blow it up, but ignore anything positive from them.

Dirk is an amazing offensive player no doubt; his mere precense on the floor would make any team better.  But I don't see him as a guy that makes his teammates better.  LBJ on the other hand had probably the quietest triple double in NBA Finals history last night.

Yea Dirk missed the game winning shot in game 3, but he was so clutch in games 2,4 and 5 . He pretty much scored every time he needed to tie the game or go ahead in the 4th quarters of those games . You are going to miss an end of the game shot once in a while .

Dirk absolutely makes his team better because he can play in the post, pick and roll is deadly, spotting up in the half court and transition he is deadly and he also gets to the line and makes almost every single free throw. When the double comes on him( which is quite often) he has very good court vision and Passing skills.

No he is not the athlete that Lebron is and doesn't have the passing skills/ court vision Lebron does , but he is pretty much superior to Lebron in every other category on offense. Lebron can't post up, can't play off the ball,is not a very good free throw shooter and cries like a baby when anything goes against him.

Hell Shawn Marion is putting up pretty similar numbers to Lebron in this series.

Dirk is by far the more clutch and deadly offensive player

I would love to see how many jump shots Lebron took out of those possessions (and how much time was left when they were taken), and how many possessions were in the 4th quarter.

I believe D Wade's thirst for isolation is secretly killing his team. Like a Kobe Bryant game where he scores 40 and the Lakers lose. Dribble up from half court, wait till the clock winds down and take it mamba style-you'll hit enough if you shoot enough.

Oh and to the OP.
To keep Lebron out of the top 3 players in the league is blasphemy.

Do you remember what he did to the Bulls and the Celtics?

I guess the question is, is Wade to be blamed for Lebron's lack of aggressiveness, is that on Lebron's shoulders, or do the Mavs simply get a lot of credit for their defense?

I wonder if the coach has decided that Wade is going to be "the man" in the 4th quarter for the finals.

Maybe it's matchups.

Why can't the offense involve both players on the same side of the court?

I think you have to credit the Mavs. LeBron hasn't done very well by his standards in all seven total games against them this season.

I think the Heat's eyes go wide open when looking at the G that would be defending Wade.

Honestly, I don't know why they don't pick and roll Lebron and Bosh more in the 4th quarter.  Either Dallas switches (putting Dirk on Lebron) or Lebron gets a lane to attack.
