I do not know who is truly available. I guess since the lockout/new CBA is looming nobody does. Still I really think we need some length and athleticism at the 4, 2 or 5 position to create a more aggresive transition game.

I agree on some levels, but Rondo and Ellis are a better duo than anybody washington has.

That team is a perennial 8th seed at best. Are we really content with building a 35-40 win team and stuck in the doldrums for the next decade or two again?! The only reason we got #17 was because we stunk and got some low draft picks to allow us to get Ray and then KG followed. If that's all we are going to be then blow the whole thing up after one more attempt next year and trade Rondo and picks away for something that has a chance to become a championship contender long term instead of an also ran.

A guy I wouldn't mind taking a run at and looked around a might be shopped around by Tornoto is Andrea Bargnani. Is only 25 looks almost like a young Dirk Avg. 21 ppg last year and if we could get him in a 3 way deal that would be amazing. Would be a great young piece to bulid with Rondo.

I don't see what the obsession is with deandre Jordan is on this blog...sure he had one good regular season game against us and he can dunk but other areas of his game are laughable.

Rondo is not a superstar, he´s not even a first option on offense.

You can´t build around Rondo.

Assuming they sign Kristic before he inks a deal with CSKA Moscow, do you trade his contract and the Quis TPE to Portland for Oden? Blazers would need a durable body behind Camby and gain some cap room. A 2 year deal (t/o second year) for $12-$14m is worth the risk.

All I know is having deandre jordan as the starting center and paying MLE money or more for him will lead to bitter disappointment..oden is a better bet but you'd have to know that he was fit at the time of offer.

Whoaa.  Last I read, Portland was about to offer Oden a 5-year deal.  I don't see them letting him go like that
