I was hoping to get some other predictions for what next year's team will look like. Not "what's you dream team",but realistically what you think next year's roster will be at the season opener. Mine looks like this

PG   Rondo, Rajon
SG   Allen, Ray
SF   Pierce, Paul
PF   Garnett, Kevin
C   Oden, Greg

Green, Jeff
West, Delonte
O’Neal , Jermain
Parker, Anthony
Howard, Josh
Kristic, Nenad
Bradley, Avery
Wafer, Von
Tyler, Jeremy
Evans, Reggie

I know Oden's a stretch, but i feel like we may be able to make a deal with Portland.

So we're getting Oden, J.Howard, R. Evans, J.Tyler, A.Parker and giving up...

i would add another  big like dalemburt & switch your j.o & evans with carl lanry a oden, dalmburt, landry,kg,kristic might MIGHT be big enuff to overwhelm miami next season but i have this strong feeling samuel d. is going to miami

but since reading wyc's statements on next year i think there going to try n aquire someone big my guesses are andre igudala or ellis or al jefferson

1.Rondo
2.pierce
3.jeff green
4.kg
5.al jefferson
6.ray allen
7.jamal crawford
8.carl landry
9.lester hudson
10.the ghost of shaquille oneal
11.whats left of jermaine oneal
12.bradley
13.1st round pick (PG)
14.2nd round pick(PF)
15.after trade deadline buyout guy
 how?

trade d.west & nenad kristic (S&t) & a future 2nd for jamal crawford (s&t)

trade glen davis & ray's exp contract(comes back in a buyout) & our clevland pick,2 sacremento picks for al jefferson

give carl landry the full MLE

im not sure if shaq or j.o is coming back if not thats 7-8 mill in exp contracts we can use to aquire jamal or al jeff or someone else

we have alot of resources hopefully danny gets creative & uses them to the fullest

If we could get that then it'd be amazing. Is it physically possible? If we can get that minus J.O. it'd still be pretty darn awesome.

Good ideas (except Ellis, he would not fit in here wioth Rondo).  Dalembert would be good.  I like Leon Powe for the vet min.  I doubt the C's have the assets to get Big Al.  In any case, Wyc has been vocal lately about putting up the dough to get a few big pieces.  This is likely the last go-round for KG&Allen so why not.

Landry would be great. If we got Landry, Oden, and Parker/Howard/J.R. Smith. I think we have a real shot at the title.

  • Rondo = Good
Rondo / West / Bradley
Ray / West / Wafer
Pierce / Green / Rookie
KG / K-Mart / J. Jeffries / Rookie
JO / Krstic / S. Jones

46 wins (4th or 5th seed), gutsy first round win, lose in second round.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Second round exit if Rondo, Ray, Pierce, and Garnett are still the best players on the team.

I think Miami is good, but I don't think they are "that good". Give me a healthy Rondo and Shaq and Delonte Green and Krstic for a full season and I think the score is revered and WE beat Miami 4-1 OR 4-2. We were "so" banged up this year and a few of those games were still 50-50's...

This being said, I do not think KG, Pierce and Ray are done yet IF we get them the right pieces and we don't need a whole lot.

Foster or A. Gray / JO or Nenad / Shaq / Semih
KG / C. Landry / Rookie draft pick
Pierce / J. Green / Excellent defender
JR Smith / Ray / Excellent defender
Rondo / DWest / Bradley

1. Mid level: JR Smith

Convince Landry to come here, then sign and trade Big baby, JO or Krstic for him.

That team, if healthy and with a full year working togetherm will steam roll Miami and everyone else on their way to #18.

Predicting the past is not that hard.   :-\

This is a very realistic proposal (unlike some of the crazy trades proposed on this board lately).  However, Reggie Evans is not going to make the difference for this team.  He's tough and a great rebounder but that's about it.  Is he a significant upgrade over Baby?  Not really.  Also 4 mill for Kristic is too much.

4 million for krstic is good because we can package krstic and JO with his trade kicker that would be 10.7 million expiring at the deadline and the rights to our 1st pick (unsigned).

Are you predicting which 2-3 rotation players will have long term injuries? Because that's what it would take for your prognosis to match your roster.
