Ok in 2012 Dwight Howard has a huge decision

there is no way he stays with Orlando with that Mess of a roster and the way they are cap strapped...

He knows there is only a few teams he can go to right now that have a chance to compete with the Miami CHeat...

The Celtics have to be on his wish list, have too

If he becomes a Free Agent, how many teams can outright sign him to a max contract and that team be a championship caliber team with all-star players and young all-stars that make it desirable

If your dwight howard in 2012 how can you pass this by

PG - 26 Year old ALL-STAR Rajon Rondo
SG - 36 Year old HOF Vet Ray Allen...signs for the min after Dwight comes on  board to go for a few championships
SF - 34 year old HOF vet Paul Pierce and young and promising Jeff Green
PF - 36 Year old HOF/Unselfish Great Defensive Kevin Garnett signs for near min to get a few more championships
C  - Dwight Howard...Defense - rebounding - Easy baskets from rondo

Coached by Doc Rivers

i really dont see a better place for him to come and win championships

if the lakers trade Bynum and Odom for him, they will just have gasol and kobe with dwight, is that really enough with the way kobe is regressing and mike brown as coach? and no young promising players and no pg? does he love LA that much?

Chicago? would orlando even want Noah and Boozer? they might rather just have capspace, and does dwight want to play with another scoring PG? who have a history of never winning championships and he wont even be the man of the team with mvp derrick rose

Knicks? does he want to play with Selfish All offense No defense players like Amare and melo?

i really think dwight to the celtics in 2012 has a great chance

i Think ainge focus should be to aquire some nice young talent this offseason with the MLE to move forward that makes the celtics even sexier for dwight howard

Something like JR Smith sign for the MLE so the future looks very promising and so does the present

For 2012 to 2014 dwight can be the man of the team playing with the best assist man in the league in young rondo and young promising players like Jr Smith and Jeff Green playing alot of minutes off the bench for hof unselfish vets like KG-Pierce-Ray Allen and coach Doc

then as the big 3 start to retire around 2015-2016 we can probably be at banner number 19 or 20 by then and sign Austin Rivers when he becomes a free agent  in 2017

Its a great plan for doc rivers and ainge and Dwight Howard future

Honestly, this just seems like a pipedream. If Orlando thinks that they won't be able to resign Dwight, then they would definitely trade him. Unfortunately the Celtics don't have trade pieces to offer. Sure we do have the cap space to sign him in free agency, well that's if he does reach free agency.

I heard that A.Rivers wants to actually play against his father because on court problems could possibly hurt their father and son relationship or something like that.

If Jim Buss really is running the Lakers, I don't think they'll land Dwight. That dude has so much loyalty towards Bynum it's ridiculous.

What if no team want to trade a good piece for him, what if he doesnt want to go to a certain team

LA just said they wont trade bynum

would The magic really want Carlos Boozer and Noah? what good would that do them?

what if dwight doesnt want to get traded,  if he hits the market, what team even have a chance at signing him

basically if he becomes a free-agent, the celtics have to be a good favorite to get him

they will be one of the only teams that will be able to sign a MAX contract and still have a championship caliber team and young pieces

if dwight is smart he wouldnt want to go to the lakers any, no way he would be the man on that team with a selfish kobe, and just gasol as another all-star

with the celtics he would be the man but surounded by a young great pg and unselfish vets...a good coach in doc, not mike brown

the thing is Boozer and Noah >>>>>>> Basically nothing.

If I were Orlando, I would rather get something in replace of Dwight instead of losing their franchise player in free agency.

they wont win anything with noah and boozer , turkoglu and arenas , that would be the most overpaid non playoff team ever

i dont think they would want that

Honestly i think Orlando is alot like the cavs that they will not trade him and try and convince him to stay, i dont think howard is going to push for a trade at all and the magic will try and go with him moving forward and try to resign him like the cavs...

if he hits the open market there will only be a few teams with the ability to sign him, and if dwight howard is smart he would wait till free agency so whatever team he goes to doesnt have to give up any assets to aquire him

I don't want Dwight Howard.  I want someone to defend him. DeAndre Jordan?  Or, I'm starting to become enthralled with the "have your cake and eat it, too" fantasy of Greg Oden signing with the Celtics, getting his knees back, and becoming the player that we were supposed to get in the 2007 off-season.  Sweet, sweet justice.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I expect the BIG 3 , Rondo and Ainge to be at dwights doorstep when freeagency hits in 2012

The biggest question mark is the trade deadline, if he is still in orlando by then i think the celtics chance to get howard is 50% then

I'm not sure Orlando doesn't think they have a shot to resign him. I don't think they necessarily do, but it's not like Dwight's gone all Carmelo about getting out of Orlando. In fact, he's kind of done the opposite, without signing an extension. I think Orlando would definitely trade him IF they think they have no shot at resigning him...which, I think, is less likely than many believe. Orlando is flawed, sure, but they're not a bad team. When they're on, they can be quite good.

Kobe is an alpha male and won't tollerate someone who can make him play second fiddle ( D12). He HAS to be "THE MAN" , he knows no other role....he'll never hang around the NBA as a bench player.  He wants to point the finger and do the yelling....D12 might bash his brains in. 8)

I really think it took a year.... but part of the HEATs recent sucesses it appears that LBJ has finally pushed Wade back as LEADER of this pack ...ah team ..sorry ::)

There was a ton of confusion early on ....each was suttlely feeling the other outand I think the coaching staff was willing to stand by and wait it out.....see WHO's team this was going to wind up being.
It just took Wade a while to relinquish his role as DA MAN forever amen on the HEAT team. Bosh was never a question.... the question was WHO was he going to play for JAMES or WADE ?

Now that they all have worked the politics and power struggle out , the HEAT is a very good team.
