I've seen this kid play four or five times and I think he's going to be a star.  If Danny get his hands on him (by trading up), then I think he should do it. Being Pierce's understudy for a few years will do him wonders as well.  I'd also like to see us grab Harris' teammate, Scotty Hopson, in the 2nd round as well.  We'd add a ton of athleticism at the 2 and 3 spots, and watching Rondo run the break with these two guys on the wings would be super-exciting.

I think he is a very intriguing prospect.  I am not sure he can play SF, but I think he projects to be a Carl Landry or Ryan Gomes type offensive PF off the bench.  I think a couple weeks ago, he would have gone in the top 20, but with some mediocre measurements (his standing reach was only 8'7" I believe), I think he is a prime candidate to slide as teams talk themselves out of his strengths, and focus on the fact that he is a tweener.  I don't think this kid is going to be a star, but I think he will be a very solid NBA player, and could help a team right away. 

Particularly if they are not sold on any of the high risk/high reward guys, Harris could be a very good option.

I just read that he's lost a bunch of weight and that Charlotte has their eye on him at #19.  I think he'll be better than both Landry and Gomes, and there was one publication that compared him to a young Grant Hill.  He's not as athletic as Grant was, but has a similar all-round game.  If gets in the right system and works on his jumper, then I think he could really excel.

I have, though I can imagine pretty good since he is pretty old right now and is all defense caliber and not to shabby offensively.

When did he start to get injured? It was a WHILE ago. Did he even really ever play for the MAgic healthy or were his only good years with the pistons?

If Grant Hill stayed healthy you would have seen a similar career arc to Scottie Pippen. He was that good. Maybe better.

He's a more athletic Ryan Gomes.  He's supposedly lost some baby fat since college, he still hasn't turned 19 yet.  I can see him being a Jared Dudley like player in the NBA, probably nothing more than that though.  One thing I really do like is his intelligence.  He's a very smart player, something which I think would be very valuable to our bench.
