  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Keep everyone not named Shaq, Murphy, Arroyo, or Wafer. Those are the players with no trade value. All the other guys have some value and can play a role.

It's very simple.  When you drastically overhaul the team with a month to go in the season, you can be pretty sure that if you had cohesion prior to the overhaul, you will have lost it.

Definite keepers for me are:
Ksrtic
Green
Delonte
Bradley

Bubble:
Wafer - I actually like him as a 3rd off guard
Baby - God I wish he'd lose some weight and get cut
* But if he can't do it in a contract year, will he ever be able to?
Murphy - I like Murphy but is he done, or does he just need a full season to get back in shape? If it's the latter, I try to keep him for sure.

We needed to do this the past 3 years.  Our bench sucks now, no point in keeping it.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

  • Another undersized Celtic...
Murphy couldn't win the starting job on the Nets. He got bought out by Golden State, and we have a jump shooting PF in KG already. If we resign Krstic, we'll have a jump shooting C. If we are gonna sign any PF, it's gotta be one who can play on the blocks and above the rim. I'd like to move Murphy, Arroyo, Pavlovic, Baby & Wafer. Depending on who we draft, I'd be okay with trading Bradley as well. There's too much Tony Allen in Bradley--I can't stand watching a PG who can't handle the ball. I see the potential in him, but I'd rather see production. If we're going to keep a project on the roster, I'd prefer it be a C or PF, because you can't teach size, you have to acquire it. And let's face it, fast tweener guards are all over the league.

Did not see anything from Murphy. Wafer seemed to be buying into the system. Bradley is under contract. Bring back:

West
Green
Kristic
Arroyo
Pavlovic or Wafer

Need an Athletic 4 and another PG/SG

Our bench actually played well against other benches. The problem was when they went up against Lebron and Dwade. Need to bring in some new blood and let the existing bench players earn their spot in the rotation. Don't think that it would be a huge loss if any of them walk, but would love to see West and Green stick around. Would also like to try and get Semih back.

Delonte has to stay because he earned it with his play.

Green has to stay because of his upside, position, athleticism and youth and because we still have his rights and need to use them to afford other players.

Krstic should stay because JO is too injury prone and this team will need 3 serviceable centers. Or he should be sign and trade bait.

Avery Bradley has to stay and develop.

Everyone else has to go, retire, or be used in a sign and trade because they were awful.

Please give Avery  Bradley the benefit of the doubt.  He is possibly the best defender on the team not named Kevin Garnett or Paul Pierce.  That's the part of Tony Allen he has that you should like.  Plus he's a better shooter than Tony.  He's on a rookie contract so just keep him one more season, even if he spends a lot of time in the D-league.

Ainge cannot go on drafting athletic players and then just discarding them, as he has done the past several years.  He will never build a young athletic team that way.

I think Krstic will command Zaza Pachulia money. $16 million over 4 years.

Personally, I would rather have Zaza. At least he rebounds the ball.

sorry but our bench played horrible in the playoffs i say tear it down keep dwest green n bradley..and build with some athleticism add a shotblocker and a rebounder tough players  only... no softies allowed!!! kristic=soft. davis=semi soft/lost his aggresivness. murphy=soft.  oneal brothers=tough but injured... arroyo=soft. pavlovic= needs more minutes/resign him tough guy.

I think at least 4 guys who can play C is a must. Right now we have a huge gaping hole at center. I would like to see JO play and start the whole season. Since we can't count on him to play at all, we need 3 more. 2 to play good minutes and a 3rd stringer and then also have KG to slide over in certain situations.

*Don't forget we have the LLE*

Murphy couldn't win the starting job on the Nets.

Brook Lopez is still there.

Bring Wafer, West and Krstic with Green as the main bench people and Bradley. One training camp might do wonders for that group. Then fill the rest with big guys, starting C and back up F if JO decides to retire.
