Not set in stone, but likely done according to a few sources. Adelman is the better candidate in my opinion, but I don't make the decisions.

I also want to know what happened to Adelman. Or even Shaw. Says a lot to me that they've looked at other people. Shaw's played and coached in Phil's system.

Wow, that has got to be bitterly disappointing for Lakers fans.

Well, at least Mike Brown is a top defensive head coach. He should maximize LA's defensive talent. Offensively, he has more weapons than he had in Cleveland. It'll be interesting to see how he handles the offense.

This could work out really well for the Lakers if Shaw fails to get a head coaching job elsewhere. He can take care of the offense while Brown takes care of defense.

I actually like Brown as a coach.

Maybe he's not a Championship team caliber coach but he did very well with very little save LeBron.

The problem he had in Cleveland is that he, along with the whole organization was bound by the "King and his rules" so unless he wanted to lose his job and not stow the company line he had to give a lot more than he could take.

i kinda wished we got him as an Asst Coach (assuming we didn't have Lawrence Frank). poor offensive coach but i think he's a good defensive coach.
