If I had no emotional attachment it would be Pierce for even more cap space in 2012. But because I love Pierce and want to see him retire a Celtic, it's Ray.

I'de go with mad scientist Danny Ainge and trade all 3 but if it had to be one it would be Pierce. He is the youngest and would bring the most value possibly. You could fetch a young star for pierce just not the top handful. I would aim for a Brandon Roy and a draft pick or something. Roy provedin the playoffs he recovered fully from his injury and should be lights out next year to any defender. He is young still and Portland might do a 3 way trade etc involving Batum to clear up the SF for Pierce. Portland will shake things up this off season.

It's a really, really hard decision.

They're all very good closers and scorer. Paul can create his own shot. Ray is the best three point shooter and has the best work ethic in the NBA. Kevin Garnett is the heart of the defense.

I cannot choose.

Easily ray allen. Pierce is going to retire a celtic and kg is the backbone of the d. Ray allen is primarly just a shooter which is the easiest to replace. he is also the oldest. but his work ethic is not replaceable

It depends on what you get back.

But Ray's skills are the most easily replaced. He's the least good defender, and he's oldest.

All of the above if it makes the Celtics better.

I voted for Ray, but the more I'm thinking about it, the more I hope that this core gets kept together for one more run.

I have been partially bolstered by the Mavs success thus far in the playoffs.  The door is not closed.  It may be only slightly ajar at this point, but there's a crack.  It's enough to give me hope for one last enjoyable ride.  I want to savor it.

Most thought that this team had a two, maybe three, year window of opportunity when they got together.  Here we are, going into year 5, and this team is still viable.  I love this team, and I'm simply not ready for this ride to end.

Danny has my blessing to tinker as much as he wants with guys 5 through 15 to try to improve this roster going into next year and beyond, but let's see what the big four can do with one more shot before our two oldest warriors become free agents again next summer.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson
