Keep in mind the Atlanta ownership situation. The club is apparently about to be sold to new ownership (the Thrashers appear poised for relocation to Winnipeg).

New owners = new attitudes re: spending and personnel.

Who in their right mind would buy a team right before a lockout? (not saying you're wrong just that whoever does is a stupidface)

The Clips' GM said at the time of the Baron Davis trade, and again after the draft lottery (where the Cavs learned the Clips' pick in that deal was the #1 overall), that the trade was about clearing payroll to resign Jordan and Gordon.

They won't let Jordan go, unless another team that has cap space makes Jordan a seriously heavy offer.

clippers 2nd round pick next year top 3 protected

Celtics would have had the top pick in this draft and able to draft Kyrie Irving or trade down and pick Brandon Knight or Kemba Walker and aquire another assett and have our future center in deandre Jordan

We probably could have won this year with Baron and Deandre who knows...

only 3 teams with solid cap next year to make big offers the pacers, kings, and suns(if they decline carters option)i think deAndre jordan is a strong possibility for us... any team they trade kaman to would need 12mill in cap space for kamans contract and that would be indy or phoenix depending on the new cba also.. im goin by 45 mill in cap.. but if the cap is higher.. we are screwed!!
