Today, May 19 (US Time), Kevin Garnett turns 35! I've been a fan of The Big Ticket since his 'Sota days, and endured all the bad years he had up there. From the awesome tandem with Marbury, to their breakup, to Malik Sealy's tragic death, the first round exits, the All Star MVP wherein he upstaged THE Micahel Jordan, to the 2004 MVP season, then the next 3 years of not making the playoffs, to joining the Celtics and becoming perennial title contenders, to Banner # 17, the DPOY, the knee injury, the game 7 4th quarter collapse, the promising offseason, the trash-talk scandal, the Perkins trade, then the 2nd round exit.. I've seen the best and worst of KG and through it all, he has remained passionate, charismatic, intense, loyal, funny, kind-hearted and driven. His body may be failing him, but his love for the game oozes everytime he steps on the court. And off it, he is a great person that people respect. This past playoff series maybe disappointing, and the window might be closing, but i think and i believe KG and his Celtics still has one more run in them. We will get banner #18 with KG, not only because we have to, or we can, but because KG, the Celtics and us fans deserve it! I don't care what anybody says... Anything is possible... Anything is possiblllllllllllllllllleeee!
